LBA Systems, the joint venture between Leonardo and Baykar, has officially unveiled the ASTORE LEVANTE drone. The aircraft, displayed in the static show, represents the customization of Baykar's TB-3 drone for the European, NATO, and Italian markets, and is currently in production at Leonardo's Ronchi dei Legionari plant.

The ASTORE LEVANTE is equipped with a Leonardo-brand mission system and sensors. Displayed alongside the aircraft in the static show are Roketsan's MAM family guided bombs and Baykar's KEMANKES-1 mini cruise missile.

The Italian Navy has already announced its intention to acquire the aircraft, but according to information obtained by FW MAG, the launch customer will be the Italian Air Force.
