During the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, Leonardo and the Indonesian Ministry of Defense announced the signing of the contract for the supply of 12 M-346F Block 20 light attack fighters to the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU).

The aircraft will be in the same configuration as the M-346Fs acquired by Austria and fitted with the GRIFO-E AESA radar.

The agreement, which follows the Letter of Intent signed last February, also covers the localization of a wide range of support, maintenance, overhaul and training services, together with human capital development.

Deliveries are scheduled to start from 2030.
