Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and BAE Systems have commenced production of the of the BvS10 Sindhu Articulated All-Terrain Vehicle (AATV) for the Indian Army at L&T’s Armoured Systems Complex in Hazira, Gujarat.
The commencement of production announced on 28 October, follows a procurement contract from the Indian Army in November 2025. The Indian order marked the first expansion of the BvS10 to Asia.
Under the agreement L&T will manufacture the vehicle under license and technical support from BAE Systems Hägglunds, the Swedish manufacturer of the original BvS10. The contract also included a comprehensive integrated logistic support package for initial deployment, maintenance, and life cycle sustainment.
