Euronaval 2026: FW Mag presents a special supplement dedicated to the exhibition 03/11/2026 | Editorial Team

Euronaval opens today in Paris, and FW Mag is there with its own stand (Hall 6, Stand D 105) and a special supplement included in issue 6/2026 (Nov/Dec), dedicated to the themes that the naval-defence community is bringing to the show this year.

The supplement opens with an interview with Rear Admiral (Ret.) Guillaume Merveilleux du Vignaux, Euronaval Commissioner General. He explains how the exhibition is adapting to a sector in which software, sensors, data and drones weigh ever more heavily alongside shipyards and platforms, and how it is following the shift towards more open and upgradeable platforms, deep-sea technologies and new acquisition models.

The underwater domain runs through much of the issue. One article examines the transition of the British and French nuclear deterrents, both resting on ballistic missile submarines. Another looks at how NATO is preparing for the underwater battle by pairing crewed submarines with smaller uncrewed platforms, designed to be fielded in numbers. The dronisation of the French Navy is covered in detail, from the DANAE armed surface drone project to the exploratory phase of a Collaborative Combat Aircraft for the aircraft carrier CHARLES DE GAULLE. A further article analyses the Italian Navy’s programmes and the fleet of tomorrow, while the last piece is devoted to ELT Group’s naval anti-drone system and to the role of Command and Control as its cornerstone.

The whole issue can be read online for free.
