Over the past week, Russian forces have launched an impressive number of GERAN 2 drones: since last Friday, there have been more than 700, with a peak of nearly 200 between November 25 and 26.
The target remains the Ukrainian energy infrastructure, which is already under heavy pressure following the massive attack on November 16-17. On the night between November 27 and 28, the Russians once again struck Ukrainian energy infrastructure with missiles and drones. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the attack involved about a hundred GERAN 2 UAVs (35 shot down according to the Ukrainian Air Force) and about a hundred missiles, almost all cruise missiles (about 30 KALIBR launched from naval units of the Black Sea Fleet and about 70 Kh-101, of which about 50 were shot down), plus the "usual" S-300 in surface-to-surface mode against Kharkiv.
Several targets were hit in the Oblasts of Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Volyn, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky (Shepetivka and Khmelnytsky districts), Kirovohrad, Rivne, Chernivtsi, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Odessa (hit with KALIBR missiles). In the Lviv Oblast (where half a million inhabitants were left without power, also due to preventive blackouts).
In Donbas, since October, Moscow's forces recorded the highest number of square kilometers conquered in the last year (pending November's numbers), surpassing the previous record set in September. The Russian effort currently remains concentrated on the Kurachove sector, where Moscow's forces are slowly eroding the salient that had formed in recent weeks between Bohoyavlenka and Dal'nje (south of Kurachove), and have resumed advancing along the Sukhi Yali river towards Uspenivka, after conquering Katerynivka in recent days. A slight advance was also recorded south of Dal'nje.
