In an official ceremony, held at the 'Colonel Marko Zivkovic' base in Velika Gorica, the Croatian Air Force introduced the first six Dassault RAFALE fighters into service. The aircraft, four single-seaters and two two-seaters, will serve with the 191st Fighter Squadron of the 91st Wing. The second and final batch of a further 6 aircraft will follow within the year to enable the Squadron to be fully operational in 2025. Croatia had ordered 12 second-hand RAFALES (10 single-seaters and 2 two-seaters) from the French Air Force in 2021.
