At Seafuture 2025, MBDA announced the signing of a contract for the production of TESEO MK2/E anti-ship missiles, also known as TESEO EVO, for the Italian Navy.

The contract, the value of which has not been disclosed at this time, was signed between MBDA and the Italian National Naval Armaments Directorate (NAVARM).

The missiles are intended for FREMM EVO, PPA, and future DDX vessels of the Italian Navy, and will complement the previous MK2/A version on board the current FREMM frigates and ORIZZONTE destroyers.

This contract is a natural continuation of the one signed in 2021 for the development, integration, and qualification of the missile.
